Happy New Years to all!
I just wanted to share a few new things with the statusbook project.
I’ve just volunteered to do a social network project for “openmind projects” http://www.openmindprojects.org/
So what does this mean for statusbook? Well it means I’m going to have to get my ass in gear if I’m to see some of the features implemented into openmind.
What I’ve been working on :
- The photo album : I’ve just implemented a tagging system (same as In facebook). It’s not complete and required a lot more javascript than I expected but it’s a good start. I’ve decided to not only allow tagging of friends but also tagging of notes. For example, you draw an area then type a note for that area. Kind of like photo captions but for specific areas of a photo.

What to do next:
- my next big thing will be the comment notification of nodes and wall posts. This means integrating email notifications.
